For your convenience, the Women’s Pavilion has a separate entrance and a dedicated driveway off North Street. A green awning covers the entry, and a wheelchair-accessible ramp is close by. When you need to be seen, you may check in at the registration desk inside the department.
Function, comfort and style
The Women’s Pavilion has five labor and delivery suites, 16 postpartum rooms, and 17 nursery beds. In a newly decorated reception area, family members and friends can wait in comfort and see the newborns through a nursery window. Original works of art are a special feature of the Women’s Pavilion. Local artists have crafted rag dolls, and clay and wood sculptures for the reception area. And stained glass adorns unique window valances in all the patient rooms.
Each room in the Women’s Pavilion is equipped with a TV, telephone and private bathroom. We provide complimentary apples to all visitors, and the hospital cafeteria is close by for meals.
