HealthQuest Class Schedule

Get support and energy from your peers in a group workout class at HealthQuest Fitness and Wellness Center. Choose from aerobics, step, aquatics, Zumba, and much more—regardless of your skills or experience.

Classes & Registration

You can show up to most classes without registering, whether you’re a HealthQuest member or guest. For a daily guest fee, visitors may take as many classes as they choose.

Class Descriptions

Multipurpose Room

CHAIR YOGA (60 min) Improve your strength, flexibility, and mobility through seated yoga poses specially adapted for any level of health and fitness. Chairs are provided to keep everyone safe and supported.

MAT YOGA (60 min) Class includes bodily postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation to make the spine supple, improve circulation, stretch and align the body, promote balance and flexibility, and bring about a clear and peaceful mind.

SILVERSNEAKERS CIRCUIT (45 mins) Standing circuit workout to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance using hand weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball, and incorporating non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.

SILVERSNEAKERS CLASSIC (45 mins) Varied exercises to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills using hand weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball. A chair is used for seated or standing support.

SILVERSNEAKERS STRETCH (45 mins) A relaxing class that combines breathing, balance & stretching to improve flexibility, body alignment and soothe stiff joints and tight muscles. A chair will be used to stand beside, behind or sit in while stretching the body from head to toe.


HEALTHY FAMILIES PROGRAM - 12 week exercise program designed children to keep them active and healthy. Program includes an initial orientation/assessment, 36 group exercise sessions with a Personal Trainer, 3 group nutritional education sessions with a Dietitian, a post assessment and graduation certificate! Sessions are separated by age divisions: Ages 9-12 and ages 13-18. Sessions are held 3 times per week and limited to 10 children per time slot. Pre-registration is required at the Reception Desk.

Group Exercise

ABS & CORE (30 min) Cut to the Core is packed full of core-focused exercises that aim to improve the way you feel and live. This all-new core workout defines your abs, strengthens your back and improves your posture for a healthier lifestyle. Challenge your core like never before as you improve your balance & strength.

BARRE FUSION (45 min) Barre Fusion is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can.

BODY BURN (45 min) A total body workout using an array of equipment to build strength and cardiovascular endurance.

BODY CARE (45 min) After a long hard week of exercising, it is important to take time and implement self care. This class offers relaxation and self alignment to help improve circulation, build better breathing techniques and increase flexibility.

CYCLING (30 - 40 min) Group cycling session to improve cardiovascular endurance. Classes are held in the cycle room. **YOU MUST CALL ONE DAY BEFORE TO RESERVE YOUR BIKE FOR THIS CLASS - 919-938-7581**

FIERY CYCLING (50 min) An intense and challenging cardiovascular workout that focus on endurance and strength by stimulating an outdoor bike ride.

FLEX & STRETCH (30-45 min) A relaxing class that combines breathing, balance & stretching to improve flexibility, body alignment and soothe stiff joints and tight muscles.

LINE DANCING (45 min) Cardiovascular workout incorporating fun line dances.

LUNCH YOGA (30 min) It has many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction all in the lunch hour.

REBOOT (45 min) Covid got you down? Need some new motivation? Let’s help you REBOOT! An intense training program for individuals looking for an extra push to help reach their goals with our Health & Wellness Specialist Staff. Using non– conventional training equipment to focus on agility, balance, mobility & visible results which allows the body to shed fat, boost energy and maximize endurance!

RISE & TONE (30 min) A varied strength training session to build muscle and develop strength and endurance.

SILVER STRETCH (30 min) A relaxing class that combines breathing, balance and stretching to improve flexibility, body alignment and soothe stiff joints and tight muscles. A chair will be used to stand beside, behind or sit in while stretching the body from head to toe.

SUPER SIZZLE (30 min) This class is designed to provide straight 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise to help improve your overall cardiovascular endurance.

TONE IT UP (60 min) This class is designed to provide 45-60 minutes of strengthening and toning along with burst of cardio mixed in to help improve your overall endurance. Great for all fitness levels!

WALK 15 (30 min) Taking the best features from low impact, aerobic style, group exercise, Walk 15® group classes keep it easy to follow but effective in results with our exclusive 15-minute, BIG Calorie-Burning Miles system! Open to all ages and all fitness levels.

ZUMBA (60 min) Cardiovascular workout using a variety of creative movements including Latin dances, Hip Hop grooves and FUN energetic dances to get your heart pumping and body sweating! Come join the FUN!!

Aquatics

LEVEL 1 CLASS
JOINT ACTION (45 min) Warm water exercises to keep joints moving and improve flexibility, strength, coordination, endurance and mobility for individuals with arthritis, fibromyalgia or other musculoskeletal problems. Class held in the therapy pool. This class is a designated Silver&Fit exercise class.

LEVEL 2 AND 3 CLASSES
AQUA MOTION (45 min) Exercises for intermediate to advanced participants to increase endurance, strength and flexibility. Class held in the lap pool. Level 1/2/3 (depending upon your self motivation and intensity)

CARDIO SWIM (60 min) A one hour cardiovascular swim class designed to build upon your current swim skills, improve technique and increase endurance. Class will be open to adults and must be able to swim 25 yards (one length of the lap pool). Come swim, have fun and get a great workout! Class held in the lap pool.

WATER WORKS (45 min) A fun and energetic class that is great for all levels! An array of equipment will be used to increase strength and build endurance all while having fun in the water!

WET HAIR DON'T CARE (45-60 min) A moderately intense water aerobics session that includes not only water calisthenics but treading water, pool running, water boxing and possibly even some pool deck callisthenic activities.


Family Swim - Members may bring children under the age of 12 to the pool areas during this time. Members over the age of 12 may use either pool at any time during operating hours. Please refer to the policy listed in the pool area for more details.

  • Lap Pool Family Swim Times: Monday – Friday, Noon – 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday, 1:00- 4:30pm
  • Therapy Pool Family Swim Times: Monday- Friday not available during the week; Saturday and Sunday, 1:00- 4:30pm

Physical Therapy - Members 12 and older may use the therapy pool at any time, but the jets will not be running during physical therapy sessions.

  • Physical Therapy Times: Monday/Wednesday, 8:20– 11:00 am & 1:00– 3:00pm; Tuesday/Thursday, 8:20– 11:00 am & Noon– 4:00pm
