The Johnston Health Foundation is well known for several annual events. Our events provide a great opportunity for businesses and the community to work together and contribute to a great cause. Over the years, these events have made a huge impact in raising funds and awareness for the Foundation and its mission to support the programs and services of Johnston Health.

During the season of giving, take part in our Gobble Waddle 5K and 10K walk run to support the Heart Fund and Healthy Kids Fund. In addition, we invite you to bring canned goods to donate to our partner food bank agency in support of those in need right here in our community.

Johnston Health Foundation’s Champions 5K/10K event features USATF certified 5K, 10K, and dog walk events. It is a timed run and fun walk event for all ages and fitness levels – definitely family, pet and stroller friendly. This event provides the opportunity for community members and staff to participate in a healthy event at the hospital while raising money for the Heart Fund and Healthy Kids Fund.
