The Johnston Health Foundation is well known for several annual events. Our events provide a great opportunity for businesses and the community to work together and contribute to a great cause. Over the years, these events have made a huge impact in raising funds and awareness for the Foundation and its mission to support the programs and services of Johnston Health.

This may seem like an obstacle in our path, but we can still reach the finish line…together!
After careful consideration of recommendations concerning the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to make the 2020 Champions 5K/10K a VIRTUAL walk/run. Our top priority is protecting you, but we know a great need still exists in our community. To continue providing support to the Heart Fund and Healthy Kids Fund, we can’t quit before we start. We invite you to be a part of this exciting new virtual walk/run concept – at your own pace, in your own space!
Portofino Derby Classic- Canceled
In consideration of the current conditions, the Kentucky Derby being rescheduled for September 5 and the Foundation's event schedule, we have decided to cancel this year's event. Learn more.
Annual Golf Classic Presented by Accelerated Claims, Inc.

Our annual golf tournament, in memory of Dr. Hubert M. Poteat, has been a part of the hospital since the 1980’s. This annual event allows for hospital care partners and community members to show support for the hospital by being a sponsor or participating in the event.

During the season of giving, take part in our Gobble Waddle 5K and 10K walk run to support the Heart Fund and Healthy Kids Fund. In addition, we invite you to bring canned goods to donate to our partner food bank agency in support of those in need right here in our community.
