The Johnston Health Foundation is well known for several annual events. Our events provide a great opportunity for businesses and the community to work together and contribute to a great cause. Over the years, these events have made a huge impact in raising funds and awareness for the Foundation and its mission to support the programs and services of Johnston Health.

Gobble Waddle- VIRTUAL
Saturday, November 14- 18, 2020
Welcome to the 12th Annual Gobble Waddle 5K and 10K walk run event presented by HealthQuest Fitness and Wellness Center. After careful consideration of recommendations concerning the COVID-19 virus, the 2020 Gobble Waddle 5K/10K will be a VIRTUAL walk/run. We will miss seeing your smiles as you sip hot chocolate by the finish line, but our top priority is protecting you. However, we know a great need still exists in our community and to continue providing support to the Heart Fund and Healthy Kids Fund, we can’t quit before we start. We invite you to be a part of this exciting virtual walk/run concept – at your own pace, in your own space!
Tree of Light Ceremony
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to hold our traditional Tree of Light Ceremony this year. However, we will light the tree outside of the SECU Hospice House and display luminaries to remember the light that still shines in our hearts. You are welcome to drive by the facility on Monday, December 7 to enjoy this beautiful sight. You can still make a donation to Tree of Light. Learn more about how your donation will be recognized this year.
