Volunteering is a rewarding experience for you, our patients and our visitors. If you are interested in becoming a Johnston Health Volunteer, please click here to print and fill out the application.

Before beginning active service you will be asked to:

• Agree to have Johnston Health complete background check
• Attend and complete a volunteer orientation session

Volunteers work in all areas of the hospital so there are lots of opportunities.

Once your application is processed, a volunteer representative will contact you with information about opportunities available based on your schedule and interests. You will be notified when your orientation is scheduled. Orientation sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at lunch. Orientation is held in the Johnston Medical Mall auditorium across the street from Johnston Medical Center-Smithfield.
