Spiritual Care
Our Mission:
The Spiritual Care Department of Johnston Health seeks to identify and strengthen the emotional and spiritual health of each person it serves.
Services
Interfaith Chapel:
The Interfaith Chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital. Please enter at the main entrance on the ground floor and take the elevator or the stairs to the first floor.
The Interfaith Chapel is open at all times to persons of all faiths and is available for prayer and meditation.
Spiritual Care Library:
The Spiritual Care Library, housed in the Diane Goffen Bylciw Room, contains a variety of resources that may help patients, their support persons and staff of Johnston Health improve their spiritual wellness. Books, periodicals, CDs and DVDs are available for checkout by calling 919-209-3655 during regular hours.
Religious Services:
The Spiritual Care Department provides worship and prayer services for patients, visitors and staff of many different faith traditions. The worship/prayer service schedule is posted on the door of the Interfaith Chapel or you may call 919-209-3655 for more information. All patients, visitors and staff are invited to attend worship/prayer services.
