Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who can rent space in the medical mall?
A: Johnston county businesses and non-profit organizations may rent space for business or educational meetings.

Events that are celebratory in nature (Birthday, anniversary, wedding receptions, baby or bridal showers etc.) will not be allowed.

Q: What space is available?
A: The First Citizens Medical Conference Center auditorium (capacity 130) and Johnston Medical Mall conference rooms 1404A (capacity 40) and 1404B (capacity 60) may each be rented separately or combined for a seating capacity of 90. (No, it doesn't add up mathmatically, however, only 90 people may be seated comfortably with our available layouts.)

Q: Are discounts available?
A: Yes, a 10% discount is available for Johnston county and/or non-profit organizations.

Q: Is catering available?
A: Yes. If you cater with our Cyber Cafe , your rental fee will be waived.

Q: Is alcohol allowed in the Medical Mall?
A: No.

Q: Is there a curfew?
A: Yes. Events must end at 9:00 pm so that the Medical Mall is vacated on time at 10:00 pm.

Q: May space be rented after normal business hours or on weekends?
A: Yes. A mandatory security personnel fee will be assessed automatically for these events to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
