SECU Hospice House
The first of its kind in the county, the SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health is an 18-bed in-patient facility that will serve the terminally ill in the county. Last year, the Foundation embarked on a $3.8 million capital campaign headed by Durwood Stephenson to raise the funds. The facility is expected to open in the spring 2010.
The SECU Hospice House will be a promising addition to Johnston Health’s Home Care and Hospice division. Home Care and Hospice works to provide medical care, guidance and support for its patients in the comfort of their homes.
