Employers, keep your employees healthy!

Johnston Health is now offering a program designed to help businesses and industries keep employees healthy and reduce workers' compensation expenses.

"It's a win-win program that gets results," says Frances Aulisio, who is the corporate health consultant for WellnessWorks. "Johnston Health provides the health care services, and local companies save money on their health care expenses."

WellnessWorks helps employers by offering easy access to health care information and services, including on-site safety talks and scheduling for physicals and drug screenings. It has in place a group of primary care doctors and specialists who set return-to-work strategies, thus minimizing treatment time and lost work days.

A WellnessWorks service coordination department helps the employer schedule and track cases, and it also acts as the liaison between the parties involved in managing health care needs.

WellnessWorks also helps employers educate their employees about general health policies and plans. These promotional services could include staging health education talks or offering corporate health club incentives.
