What is Johnston Health?
Actually, it’s you. As a resident of Johnston County, you are Johnston Health! That’s because you own your county hospital.
Johnston Health is the new operating name for the Johnston Memorial Hospital Authority, an entity that you are already familiar with. What you may not know is that Johnston Health encompasses:
- Johnston Medical Center - Smithfield (formerly Johnston Memorial Hospital)
- Johnston Primary Care Physician Services, Inc. a newly created company to provide you with greater access to primary care physicians
- Johnston Specialty Physician Services, Inc. a newly created company to provide you with greater access to specialty care physicians
- Johnston Health Enterprises, Inc. a newly created company to provide radiation oncology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and other health-care services, and soon...
- Johnston Medical Center - Clayton!
When completed, JMC - Clayton will join the family of companies that make up Johnston Health.
Johnston Health reaches out to the community through satellite facilities across the county, including Johnston Medical Associates Kenly, Cleveland and McGee's Crossroads in Benson; and Summit Surgical Services in Clayton, North Carolina.
